Meet the Therapists

Beth Bracey, MA, LPC
Elizabeth “Beth” Bracey, MA, LPC, is a therapist and school counselor passionate about helping children and adolescents feel seen, understood, and supported. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, along with a School Counseling certification, from Centenary University. Beth’s therapeutic approach integrates person-centered play therapy, CBT, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness, drawing on extensive training in play and art-based modalities through her work with Michelle Pinheiro at Child Play Therapy since 2015. Her professional experience includes mobile response, intensive in-home services, residential treatment, school counseling, and teaching, and she currently serves as a school counselor at Warren Hills Regional High School. Outside the therapy room, Beth is an avid runner who completed the Disney Dopey Challenge (5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon!) and stays busy chasing after her two young children. At the core of her work is the belief that empathy is healing — echoing Carl Rogers’ words, “If a person is understood, he or she belongs.”

I have experience working with individuals navigating ADHD/ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression, mood or sensory challenges, self-harm, social communication or behavioral difficulties, life transitions, Body Focused Repetative Behaviors such as hair pulling or skin picking, as well as identity exploration, including LGBTQ+ youth. My approach is strengths-based and centered on creating a safe, supportive space where children feel understood and accepted. I use a blend of play therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques, along with creative and engaging modalities such as therapeutic board games and card games, sand tray, art therapy, bibliotherapy and mindfulness activities like guided imagery and yoga! I also work closely with parents, offering support and practical strategies so you can feel more confident helping your child at home. My goal is for children and teens to leave therapy feeling more understood, more capable, and more like themselves.

Anastasia Neves, MSW, LSW
I am a licensed social worker with certification in AutPlay, a neurodiversity-affirming approach to play therapy that supports the mental health needs of neurodivergent children and their families. I have experience working with children with autism, severe developmental disabilities, ADHD, ODD, anxiety, and depression. I earned my degree from Rutgers University and have worked in a variety of settings, including public and private schools, adult day programs, and direct service roles. I have over seven years of experience supporting children. My approach is strengths-based, meaning I work collaboratively with clients to build on their abilities, promote resilience, and empower them to develop their own solutions. I also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a structured, goal-oriented approach that helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors while building practical coping skills. In my free time I enjoy going on outdoor adventures with my three dogs. I also love to cook and bake new recipes.
